Running a Sale on CloverTm Mini or Clover Mobile Insert the card chip-first into the top of the Clover system. For mobile wallet payments, tap the mobile device to the screen of the Clover system. If the payment type is not EMV capable, slide the magnetic stripe across the top of the system. Then, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transaction.

Processing a refund can be done in three different ways. Either look up the past transaction in the Transaction Log, scan a receipt into the Transaction Log, or issue a “blind refund” from the Manual Transactions app. Once you find the transaction or enter the amount you’d like to refund, select the “Refund” button and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.

Select the “Closeout” button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Review current batches and adjust tips as necessary, then select “Closeout” to place your batch in queue for processing. Press “OK” to complete your batch closeout.
